Animators of all kinds, as well as any artist, illustrator or cartoonist who wishes to see their work move through solid and assured animated action. (Note: This is a mandatory class for 'Foundational Certificate in Animation' students.)

Overview:
Before attempting any animated action students will need to understand the core principles of movement that have been discovered and evolved over 100 years of professional production. This course will therefore provide students will all the core principles of movement they will require for any form of animation – such as ‘squash & stretch’, ‘arcs’, ‘weight’, ‘gravity’ and ‘timing’ - as well as be introduced to industry standard software, ToonBoom Studio, that will make the exercises easy and more accessibly for all students to initiate.
