Overview:
The legendary masters of animation always said that if you can master a believable walk action then you can animate pretty much anything. This class underlines that philosophy. Students will first be shown how to create a generic walking action, then be shown ways of developing that walking action to express mood, personality and individuality within the characters being animated. Further instruction on the workings of vector animation program, ToonBoom Studio, will be provided to students – especially the art of ‘rigging’ and ‘multiplane’ background action for walks.
